Davide Battaglia was born in Genoa, Italy, in 1982. In 2006 he graduated from the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts. A figurative painter, he has exhibited his artworks in Genoa, Milan, Rome, Venice, Paris, Hamburg, Barcelona, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Lisbon and other European cities and part of his production is in several public and private collections. He regularly collaborates with publishing houses as a book illustrator and has worked in film productions as a stage painter, art director and storyboard artist, as well as directing, in 2020, the documentary "The Virgin of the Pandemic". Since 2016 he has been living in Tenerife, in the Canary Islands; in his studio in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, "EB-Estudio Battaglia", he works on personal or commissioned artworks (specializing in portraits) and gives drawing and painting lessons. In 2022 he published the autobiography "Symballo".
